UM Stingrays Summer Portraits

So many smiling faces and a lot of wet hair! I’m excited to see the Stingrays in action again this summer!
1: sports portraits upgraded!
Natural light, real-life backgrounds and image options bring a welcome update to traditional sports portraits. I enjoy capturing portraits that showcase each kid for who they are at this moment in time. Each child will have a minimum of 3 images for you to choose from edited in both color and black/white.
2: affordable options
Sports portraits don’t need to break the bank. You can purchase digital images for $29 each or $75 for your child’s entire album. UPDATE for this year - only digital images will be sold. No physical prints will be available.
3: Easy Online ordering
Goodbye pre-order forms and envelopes. Now you will get to preview all the images of your child before deciding which ones you’d like to purchase. All viewing and ordering is done in an easy-to-use, secure, online ordering system.

Please click the link below to save a spot. Please note that I am aware that portrait times conflict with the start of the meet. I will stay at the meet for as long as we have light. If you need to come back later during the meet, just let me know and I will do everything I can to accommodate you, but please do your best to arrive at your scheduled time.
waitlist information
If all spots are filled, you can sign up for the waitlist by clicking the button below. Once you are on the waitlist, you have two choices for the night of photos. You can keep an eye on the portrait area and stop by anytime during the 3:30-6:30 scheduled session times. If I happen to have a break between swimmers, I will gladly photography your child but if a scheduled swimmer is already there you’ll have to try again another time. OR you can come by anytime between 6:30-7:30. There are no scheduled times during that hour because I know that the meet will be in full swing and you won’t know your child’s race times until the night of the meet.

FAQ
How many pictures will I see?
Unlike traditional sports photos, this time you will have choices. Each child will have a gallery of 6-8 images in both color and black and white. You get to choose which ones you want to order! Just click the View Gallery button to see all your options. Images are organized by last name into individual albums for each child.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
As a mom of four myself, I know how quickly things add up! I’m happy to offer a discount on full digital album purchases. If you purchase the full album of digital images for one child, all additional siblings’ digital albums will be $10 off. This discount is automatically applied at checkout. This discount is only available for digital album purchases and does not apply to packages or prints.
Why do you ask for my email address?
Once you have clicked the “View Gallery” button, you will be asked for your email address to enter the gallery. Requiring an email address allows the software to save your favorites and your cart until you are ready to order. The email address you provide will be used to send you the link to download digital images if you choose to purchase any. Your email address is only used for purchases and updates related to this gallery and you will not receive any other emails from me, unless requested.
How do I order?
All orders are completed online through a professional and secure site. First, navigate to your child’s album of images. Once you have selected an image, you will see a black “Buy Photo” button either underneath the image or in the top right corner. Clicking on that button will show you all of the options available for purchase. If you have any trouble ordering, you can always email me at photography@maggiemcc.com
How do I order digital images?
To order digital images for your child, please click on the image that you would to purchase. In the upper right hand corner or beneath the image, click on the black “Buy Photo” button, then choose the Digitals category. You can choose either the Single Full Resolution for $29 or Full Resolution for All Photos in the Album for $75. Choosing the All Album photos option for $75 means that you are purchasing all of the images in both color and black & white that are currently in that child’s album. It is not possible to combine photos from different albums into a new album.
How are digital images delivered?
Once you have completed checkout, you will be sent an email with a link to download all images purchased. Because the files are large, they will likely download initially as a zip file so I highly recommend downloading to a computer and not a mobile device at first. Please download all images before midnight on the day the gallery closes. A fee of $10 will be required in order to reopen the gallery for additional downloads.
I purchased the digitals and printed at a different printer. Why do they look different?
Color and light can be a tricky thing in photography. Every device reads and displays color just a little differently. This is why the images may look slightly different on your cell phone than they do on a computer. This is true with printers as well. My images are calibrated so that I can guarantee that the printer I work with will print them exactly as I see them. Other printers will “read” the color information in the image just a little differently so they may end up printing lighter or darker or more red or more yellow, etc. I can only guarantee color and quality of prints that have been ordered directly through me for this reason. However, I can recommend mPix as a reliable and reputable photo lab.
Do you offer retouching?
Each image chosen for the gallery will be edited and slightly retouched as needed before being ready to view. No scars, freckles, or other birthmarks will be touched but if a stray bug happened to land on their arm, that will be removed before viewing. If additional or more extensive retouching is requested (such as stray hairs or large bruises), please send me an email before ordering so we can discuss the extent of the edits requested and I can provide you with a quote for the retouching fee.
